Chongqing’s cargo volume via the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor increased by more than 30% year-on-year in the first quarter.

According to the data released by the Chongqing Railway Logistics Center of the Chengdu Bureau of the State Railway, in the first quarter of 2026, the railway-sea combined transport trains on the new land-sea channel in western Chongqing sent a total of more than 400 trains, loading nearly 17000 cars, and the traffic volume increased by more than 30% year-on-year, realizing the double growth of the number of trains and the loading volume.
