In the first year of the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan", Henan Province proposed to accelerate the construction of a logistics channel hub connecting the north and the south, connecting the east and west, radiating inside and outside, focusing on integrating into and serving the national unified market. By carrying out the "three major challenges" of high-quality development of multimodal transport, inland shipping construction, and upgrading of inter-provincial highway channels, we will improve the three-dimensional transportation network of "air, rail, public and water", focus on promoting "one rise and one drop" -- upgrading the energy level of national comprehensive freight hubs such as Zhengzhou, and using measures such as "one single system" and "one box system" to reduce logistics costs. In 2025, it will accelerate the development of inland shipping, build a convenient water transport channel to the sea in central China, and promote the transformation of transportation location advantages into economic development.

On February 22, Wutongqiao District, Leshan City, Sichuan Province successfully launched two Leshan-made LNG distribution dual-purpose ships "Yuyang 8" and "Yuyang 9". The two new energy ships were constructed by Leshan Qianwei Chuanqian Shipyard and belong to Leshan Hengbang Port Co., Ltd., with a total length of 66 meters and a maximum load of 1600 tons. They are powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG) and have a range of up to 1000 kilometers. They will mainly sail in the Minjiang River, Jinsha River and the main waters of the Yangtze River. This launch marks an important step in Leshan's green and intelligent shipbuilding and the development of modern water transportation using the Minjiang River waterway.
