On February 25, the reporter learned from the press conference on Henan Province's deep integration into the service of the national unified market that this year Henan will accelerate the construction of logistics channel hubs connecting north and south, traversing east and west, and radiating inside and outside. Based on the thoroughfare, dense network, and strong hub, it will continuously improve the "air, rail, road, water" three-dimensional transportation network, accelerate the construction of projects such as the Sha Ying River "Port-to-Park" project, promote the development of multimodal transport "single system" and "single container system", and accelerate the transformation of transportation location advantages into economic development advantages.
In the first year of the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan", the Henan Provincial Department of Transportation will deeply implement the deployment requirements of the Henan Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government to integrate into the service of the national unified market construction, focusing on strengthening the functions of "four hubs, three fulcrums", and will concentrate on tackling the high-quality development of multimodal transport, the construction of inland shipping, and the upgrading of inter-provincial highway channels.
Based on geographical location and comprehensive transportation advantages, Henan will promote the cross-regional coordinated layout, cross-mode integrated connection, and cross-field deep integration of the transportation system, accelerate the construction of logistics channel hubs connecting north and south, traversing east and west, and radiating inside and outside, focusing on "one rise and one fall". "One rise" refers to enhancing the hub level, deeply advancing the construction of the Zhengzhou National Comprehensive Freight Hub chain strengthening project, promoting Luoyang, Nanyang, and Shangqiu to be included in the new round of chain strengthening support scope, and promoting the normalization of container trains from Xinxiang and Jiaozuo to coastal ports. "One fall" refers to reducing logistics costs, expanding the scope of "single system" and "single container system" based on the successful data chaining of the first blockchain in the "single system" at Zhoukou Port, and vigorously developing "road-to-rail" and "road-to-water" transport.
By 2025, the development of inland shipping in Henan will accelerate and become more efficient, and the construction of convenient sea-going waterway channels in the central region will speed up. This year, Henan will fully promote the Sha Ying River "Port-to-Park" transportation powerhouse pilot construction, accelerate the upgrading of the Sha Ying River, Huai River, Tang River, and Tuo Hui River's four channels, with new and rebuilt channels exceeding 200 kilometers, achieving a breakthrough in third-level channels. It will accelerate the construction of the port collection and distribution system. Using Zhoukou Port and Xinyang Huaibin Port as fulcrums, it will strengthen strategic cooperation with port and shipping groups from other provinces, create premium container routes, and improve the ability to connect rivers to the sea. It will increase the deployment of electric vessel capacity and explore new models of green shipping.
