Highlights at a glance
PVC paste resin is a unique form of PVC used primarily in paste applications. It is prepared using lotion and micro suspension methods, resulting in a fine, non-flowing powder similar to talc. When mixed with plasticizers, it forms a stable suspension used in various final products. PVC resin powder is a general term, so PVC resins include paste resins. As the name suggests, PVC paste resins are mainly used in the form of a paste. People often refer to this paste as plasticized paste, which is a unique liquid form of PVC plastics in the unprocessed state.
PVCPVCPVC
Paste resin is usually prepared by lotion and micro suspension methods. Due to its fine particle size, polyvinyl chloride paste resin has a texture similar to talc powder and is non flowing. After mixing PVC paste resin with plasticizer, it is stirred to form a stable suspension, which is then made into PVC paste, or PVC plasticizer paste, or PVC sol. It is in this form that people use to process into final products.
