Wuhan Optics Valley leadership visits IBI Yangtze River Delta Digital Economy Headquarters
On March 11, Tan Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Wuhan Optics Valley Central City Construction Service Center, and his delegation visited the IBI Yangtze River Delta Digital Economy Headquarters, warmly received by Wang Yu, CEO of Xineng Duoduo, and others. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on topics such as the intelligent computing industry chain, digital supply chain, and industrial digitalization.
The visiting delegation first toured the IBI Yangtze River Delta Digital Economy Exhibition Hall, gaining detailed insights into the operational models of various Duoduo platforms under IBI, cross-border operational strategies of industrial belts, and the technological applications and practical achievements of IBI Cloud.
Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (referred to as "Optics Valley") is one of China's first national high-tech zones and the core engine for technological innovation and industrial development in Hubei. As the world's largest research and manufacturing base for optical fiber and cable, Optics Valley stands out in the optoelectronic information industry, having formed a complete industry chain ecosystem of "optical core, screen, terminal, and network." Meanwhile, Optics Valley is accelerating its layout in future industries such as new energy, artificial intelligence, and brain-computer interfaces, gathering over 16,000 high-tech enterprises and 300,000 researchers, possessing a complete innovation chain from basic research to industrial transformation. In terms of logistics and warehousing, Optics Valley is leveraging its geographical advantage of being a hub connecting nine provinces to accelerate the construction of a modern supply chain system, vigorously developing digital trade and intelligent warehousing, and is committed to building a central region node linking the global international consumer center city.
During the discussion, Tan Wei stated: "As the core carrier for Wuhan's construction of a nationally influential technological innovation center, Optics Valley is currently focusing on strategic emerging industries such as optoelectronic information, new energy, and artificial intelligence, striving to build a 'World Optics Valley.' We have superior geographical transportation conditions, complete industrial support, and abundant technological talent resources, especially with urgent needs in logistics hub construction and smart warehousing layout. As a leading enterprise in the industrial internet field, IBI has accumulated extensive experience in digital supply chains, industrial e-commerce, and industrial big data. We hope to engage in practical cooperation with IBI and Xineng Duoduo in areas such as digital warehousing, new energy supply chains, and computing power services, jointly empowering the high-quality development of Optics Valley's industrial ecosystem."
Wang Yu stated: "IBI is a leading domestic B2B e-commerce and industrial internet platform, based on industrial e-commerce and supported by industrial big data and digital technology, dedicated to providing online commodity trading, commercial information services, and digital technology services for related industries. Xineng Duoduo, as a vertical e-commerce platform under IBI focusing on the new energy industry chain, concentrates on the centralized procurement and trading of upstream raw materials such as lithium batteries and photovoltaics and digital supply chain services, with cloud ERP and cloud logistics as the basic framework, actively promoting the digital ecological construction of the new energy industry. IBI Yangtze River Delta Digital Economy Headquarters, based in Wuxi and radiating across the Yangtze River Delta, is committed to building a regional trading center, innovation laboratory, and talent base. Optics Valley has a strong industrial foundation and abundant innovation vitality in fields such as optoelectronic information and new energy, which highly aligns with the development direction of Xineng Duoduo. We look forward to deepening cooperation with Wuhan Optics Valley in areas such as energy storage material supply chains, digital cloud factories, computing power services, and industrial internet platform construction, jointly promoting the deep integration of digital technology and the real economy."
