In April 2021, China's titanium sponge production hit 12,098 tons, a 34.95% increase YoY. From January to April, total production reached 47,586 tons, marking a 36.39% rise. Despite some production limitations due to raw material issues, demand remains strong, especially in the military sector, driving prices upward.

According to LYDD statistics,April 2021 China's titanium sponge production 12098 tons, up 34.95% year-on-year, up 0.94% YoY. January-April 2021 titanium sponge production totaled 47,586 tons, up 36.39% YoY, compared to January-April 2020 production growth of about 12696 tons.

With the release of titanium sponge production capacity, market demand is stable, April because of titanium sponge raw material problems, individual areas of production has been limited, but the overall output of titanium sponge gradually increased.

The top three domestic production areas of titanium sponge Liaoning, Sichuan, Xinjiang, accounting for 33%, 19%, 16% of total domestic production, respectively.

Titanium sponge military market demand is strong, the market supply is tight, the civilian market recovery, with the overall recovery of the market, titanium sponge demand increased, raw material prices continue to rise, titanium sponge market new single price stabilization in the upward trend.
