Classification and advantages of PVC
Polyvinyl chloride , short for PVC. rank first in it’s production worldwide. It is one kind of common raw material making plastic. (PE-polyethylene, PP-polypropylene, PVC, PS-polystyrene, ABS)
It is widely used in building materials, industrial products, daily necessities, floor leather, floor tiles, artificial leather, pipes, wires and cables, packaging films, bottles, foaming materials, sealing materials, fibers, etc.
Classification of PVC
According to the different scope of application, PVC can be divided into general PVC resin, high degree of polymerization PVC resin and cross-linked PVC resin. According to polymerization methods, PVC can be divided into four categories: suspension PVC, lotion PVC, bulk PVC and solution PVC.
Advantages of PVC
PVC has the advantages of flame retardant (flame retardant value is above 40), high chemical resistance (resistance to concentrated hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid with concentration of 90%, nitric acid with concentration of 60% and sodium hydroxide with concentration of 20%), good mechanical strength and electrical insulation.
