Analysis of China’s titanium sponge output on 2022 Oct

According to Tuduoduo, the production of titanium sponge is 17475ton on Oct,2022, up 93.09% year on year; increase 1.3% month on month from the production on Sept,2022; From January to October 2022, the cumulative output of titanium sponge is about 135,124 tons, an increase of 14.97% over the same period last year, and the output have rose by about 17,595 tons.Due to it is the October of last year of the market that surge sharply and affected by the double control policy in some areas, coupled with the overpriced raw material magnesium ingot, semi-process enterprises basically in a status of reducing or stopping production, the market production has fallen steeply; this year, as the price of raw materials&auxiliary materials remained stable, and the tight supply of enterprises, the capacity has released actively, market production in a steady upward trend.

Enterprises in Guizhou province has tight raw materials and the output has declined slightly on October, Besides that situation in Guizhou, Other enterprises in the market are actively increasing their productions, the whole production will maintain climbing.

This year, there’s a strong demand in downstream civilian products and military market, market demand rose by 3%-5%, in addition, affected by Russian and Ukraine in international market, the export orders soared, under the continued increasing of the supply of titanium sponge in market, enterprises’ inventory  maintain a low level. On Oct, individual enterprises weakened their receiving on orders, because of the tight supply and overpriced raw material cost, the price of titanium sponge will remain stable under the stable release of production capacity in the future.
