On August 15, Guolian Co., Ltd. and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the Sixth Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, Wujiaqu City, officially signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement at the Wujiaqu City People's Government. Guolian Co., Ltd. Director/Senior Vice President Wang Ting, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Political Commissar of the Sixth Division Fan Zhe, and Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar, and Minister of Organization Department of the Sixth Division Liu Penghui jointly attended the signing ceremony. Both parties will integrate advantageous resources to create a modern agriculture (food technology) digital economy headquarters, build a comprehensive demonstration zone integrating industrial e-commerce platforms, production and financing services, cross-border trade, and industrial cultural tourism, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the Sixth Division's industrial system towards intelligence, greenness, and internationalization.
As a strategic pivot of the "Belt and Road" northern corridor, the Sixth Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps boasts three core advantages: relying on the industrial foundation of a national-level agricultural product foreign trade transformation base, forming a modern agricultural system led by deep processing of cotton and tomatoes, with its industrial scale and quality benefits ranking at the forefront of the Corps; the division's headquarters in Wujiaqu City, leveraging its location advantage adjacent to the Urumqi International Land Port Area, has become a key node of the China-Europe Railway Express western corridor, constructing a two-way circulation hub "connecting Central Asia to the west and the inland to the east"; at the same time, as a pioneer in the digital transformation of the Corps, it has taken the lead in establishing an agricultural big data center covering the entire region, laying a solid foundation for creating a digital benchmark for Central Asian agriculture.
In recent years, the Sixth Division's state-owned assets have been committed to promoting the digital upgrade of the entire division's industry and the construction of trade channels, with significant resource advantages in agricultural production and services.
