Leaders of the National People's Congress Visit the Khorgos Digital Economy Headquarters of the League of Nations

From June 30 to July 7, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Peng Qinghua, led a research group to Xinjiang to conduct a special investigation on the implementation of the "Land Border Law of the People's Republic of China" and related key supervision suggestions. The research group held a symposium in Urumqi and conducted field research in border counties and cities in the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, and Kashgar region. During this period, the research group visited the Horgos Digital Economy Headquarters of Guolian Co., where Liu Zhai, Director and Senior Vice President CEO of Guolian Co., gave a report and exchange on site.

Peng Qinghua emphasized the need to deeply study and implement the important discourse spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping on border governance, to profoundly understand Xinjiang's important mission in land border work, to fully leverage the institutional advantages of the joint efforts of the party, government, military, police, soldiers, and civilians to strengthen border defense, to earnestly carry out the promotion and implementation of the Land Border Law, to actively research and solve related practical issues, and to jointly promote the rule of law in border governance, ensuring the safety and stability of land borders and border areas. Better coordinate development and security, deeply advance the new era's action of prospering the border and enriching the people, develop new quality productivity according to local conditions, vigorously develop characteristic industries, build and utilize open platforms, optimize infrastructure layout, continuously enhance the resource element aggregation capacity, industrial carrying capacity, and basic public service supply level of border areas, and improve the production and living conditions of border residents, supporting the stability and tranquility of the border through the revitalization and development of border areas. It is necessary to insist on promoting the construction of the Chinese national community as the main line of work in border ethnic areas, strengthen the publicity and education of forging a strong sense of the Chinese national community, vigorously promote the spirit of patriotism and border defense, and continuously consolidate the ideological foundation for all ethnic groups to jointly defend and build the border.

During the inspection at the Horgos Digital Economy Headquarters of Guolian Co., Peng Qinghua expressed appreciation for Guolian Co.'s achievements in the practice of the industrial digital economy, encouraging the company to leverage its own advantages, deeply participate in the development of Xinjiang's industrial economy, and, based on Xinjiang's core position in the "Belt and Road" initiative, to deeply expand the global market, assisting Xinjiang in creating a new highland of opening up.

In the exchange, Liu Zhai introduced: "Guolian Co. actively participates in the practice of the industrial digital economy, exhibiting an overall platform, technology, and data development, and has constructed three growth curves: industrial e-commerce, industrial digitalization, and industrial belt cross-border operations." Based on this, the company will focus on headquarters construction, deeply cultivate the regional industrial digital economy, and rely on cross-border platforms such as Cnauto and TDD-global to build around the overseas 1750 strategy (1 platform, 7 centers, 50 overseas warehouses), based in Xinjiang, facing Central Asia, and deeply cultivating the European and global markets. By constructing a 'overseas warehouse + local service center' network, we actively expand the multimodal transport logistics system, enhancing the efficiency of the company's overseas operations in multiple dimensions."
